How to apply

Before you start

Keep these ready as scanned files. You cannot submit the form without them.

You also need a working email address and mobile number, and Rs. 600 for the application fee.

The five steps

1. Register

   Give your name, mobile number, email and a password. Type the security code shown on screen. A registration number in the form D-260001 is created, shown on screen and emailed to you. Keep it safe: every later step needs it.

   Use your own email and mobile. All communication goes to that address.

2. Pay the application fee

   Sign in, open the payment page and pay Rs. 600 through the bank gateway. Save the receipt. Type the transaction ID from it twice on the payment page, along with the payment date.

   The transaction ID cannot be changed once saved, so check it before you confirm. The form stays locked until this is done.

3. Fill in the application form

   Enter your personal details, permanent address, Higher Secondary marks and category, then upload the documents. For each subject type the marks obtained twice; the two entries must match, and the percentage out of 100 is worked out for you.

   You can save a draft as many times as you like and come back later.

4. Submit and print

   Accept the undertaking and submit. After submission the form becomes read only and you can download the printed application as a PDF from your dashboard.

   If something is wrong after submission, contact the office. Staff can reopen your form for correction.

5. Download the rank card

   When the office publishes the rank list, a download button appears on your dashboard. The rank card shows your merit score, your rank and the marks used to calculate it.

How the rank is calculated

Physics plus Chemistry plus Mathematics or Biology (whichever is higher) at the H.S (10+2) examination, each subject first brought onto a common scale of 100, giving a total out of 300, as per the SELECTION PROCEDURES of the admission notification.

The rank card shows your D.Pharm merit rank, your rank within your category, and your PH and TFW ranks where those apply. Counselling and admission are based on the merit rank alone; the other ranks only sequence candidates within their own group.

Age. Candidates must have completed 17 years of age as on 31.12.2026. There is no upper age limit. So your date of birth must be on or before 31.12.2009.

Only the Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent qualification counts. Physics and Chemistry are compulsory; fill in Biology or Mathematics, or both, and the higher of the two is used. Marks may carry two decimal places.

Where two candidates have the same score the tie is broken in this order: Higher percentage in Chemistry; then Higher percentage in Physics; then Higher percentage in Mathematics or Biology (whichever is higher); then Higher age (older date of birth).

Common mistakes to avoid

• Photograph or signature saved as PDF. Both must be JPG and not larger than 200 KB.
• Typing the transaction ID from memory instead of copying it from the receipt.
• Uploading a marksheet where the marks or the roll number are blurred.
• Choosing a reserved category, or answering Yes to PH or TFW, without uploading the matching certificate.
• Forgetting the bank payment challan. Everyone has to upload it, whatever the category.
• Entering full marks above 200.00 for a subject. The form will not accept it.
• Leaving the form as a draft and never submitting it. A draft is not an application.
